Synopsis

Amid a three-way clash between the Diamond Kingdom army, the Eye of the Midnight Sun, and the forces of the Witches' Forest, Mars turns against his homeland and fights alongside Asta. Reunited with his old master Fanzell, Mars stands with the Black Bulls against enemies like Ladros and the fire-wielding girl Fana. Carrying the scars of their brutal pasts, Mars and Asta combine their strength to strike back. Asta's Anti-Magic swords tear open a hopeless battlefield in one of the arc's fiercest volumes.

Guided by Fanzell, Mars and Asta join forces and drive back Ladros. It's revealed that Fana is being controlled by the Eye of the Midnight Sun and was actually Mars's childhood friend from the same brutal research facility. As their memories return, Fana breaks free of the control. The Witches' Forest crisis is resolved, and Asta's group heads home having protected their comrades. The Diamond Kingdom arc concludes here, steering the story toward the celebratory festival arc in the capital.
