Synopsis

Dorothy Unsworth's dream magic drags Vanessa and the others into a world where she reigns as absolute ruler. In a space where the laws of reality no longer apply, how can the squad hope to fight back? Meanwhile, Asta and his companions are thrown into disarray by the combined mirror and eye magic unleashed by the elf-ified siblings Gauche and Marie, forcing them into a punishing battle. In the dream world Vanessa draws out the full power of her red thread and finds the thread of escape that breaks through Dorothy's absolute domain. Though elf-ified, Gauche is shackled by his maddening love for his sister Marie, and Asta seizes that opening to destroy the magic stone and restore the siblings to human form. One after another the Knights free the elves and finally close in on the heart of the Shadow Palace. But the enemy's trump card remains hidden, and the madness of the true mastermind Patri, who exploits Licht's soul, gradually surfaces. The ritual to summon a devil enters its final stage, and tension climbs to its peak heading into the next volume's climax.
