Synopsis

The Spade Kingdom's vanguard, the "Dark Disciples," appear across the Heart Kingdom, and the allied Clover–Heart forces are pushed to the brink on every front. Dante overpowers the Black Bulls with gravity magic and a devil's body, capturing Yami and carrying him off. Asta unveils a new "Devil Union" form, synced with the devil Liebe, and lands a blow against Dante. Yet with the defection of Finral's brother Langris and Zenon's capture of William piling on, the Magic Knights suffer heavy losses. It is hinted that the Spade Kingdom aims to raise a "tree that lowers devils into the world," and amid crushing disadvantage the story sets up the counterattack of the next volume.
