Synopsis

The royal capital of the Clover Kingdom is struck by a sudden attack, throwing the city into chaos. A mysterious group called the Eye of the Midnight Sun, harboring deep hatred for the kingdom, targets civilians without mercy and spreads destruction. Asta and the Black Bulls, in the capital on leave, fight back across the city to protect the people, but every enemy mage wields terrifying power. The Eye of the Midnight Sun's officers crush the capital's Magic Knights one after another, forcing even captain-class fighters like Fuegoleon into hard battles. Amid the chaos, it becomes clear the enemy's aim is not mere terror but seizing royal secrets and immense power. Asta cancels enemy attacks with his anti-magic sword and saves several allies, but one foe nearly abducts him. He barely holds on through teamwork, yet the capital's damage is severe. With the identity and goals of the Eye of the Midnight Sun still shrouded, the battle crashes toward its final phase in the next volume.
