Synopsis

Loudmouth Don Kanonji seems like a fraud who is all talk, but when it counts he shows surprising nerve and refuses to flee, trying to protect the crowd. The Hollow in the hospital targets the film crew and audience, and Ichigo cuts it down as a substitute Soul Reaper while keeping his identity hidden. What looks like a comedy chapter quietly charts Ichigo's growth as he accepts the role of a Soul Reaper who protects people unseen, leading into his resolve for the Soul Society arc.
