Synopsis

The third match of the Neo Egoist League, Germany's Bastard München versus England, plunges into its final phase still level on the scoreboard. Reading Chris's decisive chance faster than anyone, Yoichi Isagi turns that foresight into a weapon and hunts for a chance to strike back. But the one moving to steal the leading role is Kenyu Yukimiya, who carries a "destiny" that will not allow defeat. On a pitch where "logic" and "ideals" collide, the pride of Kaiser and Nagi gets tangled in too, unleashing an ultra-dense struggle over the single instant that decides victory or defeat — one of the series' most electrifying volumes.

In the closing stages, Isagi precisely foresees his opponents' intentions to snuff out their decisive chances, then flips that reading into scoring opportunities of his own with dazzling sharpness. Yukimiya lays bare the resolve he carries and stands in the way, and the two clash in a battle of philosophies — "logic" versus "ideals." Kaiser asserts his presence with sheer stubbornness, and Nagi bares his fangs at the crucial moment. The match stays tangled to the very end, and through this life-or-death struggle Isagi acutely realizes what he still lacks, closing the volume with his hunger and determination for the next stage burning even brighter.
