On her first day of school, Momo brings along the kaiju girl Vamola and, taking a shortcut through a ruined building to avoid being late, runs into the Slit-Mouthed Woman. A repelling chant seems to settle things—but Momo and Vamola end up stalked by her. Under Seiko's orders, the two hole up in their room after 10 p.m. Momo thinks it'll be easy, until her feelings for Okarun are cleverly used against her and she nearly steps outside…? Then, after school, Okarun and the others are attacked by never-before-seen aliens all over town. Volume 10 pits everyday life, the paranormal, and aliens against one another.
