Synopsis

Bamora in the kaiju suit was a Sumerian of a distant star. Her homeworld fell to the same invaders now aiming at Earth, and she fled with Banga—the mother she loves. Momo’s crew learns that past and stands up, but the outer-space foe is a wall beyond imagination. Volume 13 of Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan runs the kaiju girl’s origin and Earth’s defense on the same track.

Volume 13 braids Bamora’s lost homeworld with Earth’s defense on one clock. The girl in the kaiju suit is a Sumerian survivor from a distant star; invaders of the same breed now hunting Earth once scattered her people, and she forced an escape with Banga—the mother figure she clings to. That memory opens in front of Momo’s crew and redraws Bamora from “mascot ally” into a living witness of the invasion. On Earth, outer-space forces crush street and sky at once; spirit power, sci-fi grit, and kaiju-suit muscle still can’t fully carve the wall. Knowing Bamora’s past, Momo steps forward with both feeling and tactics, and Okarun’s side redefines who they protect. The moment the enemy that stole a home and the enemy in the sky become one line, the battlefield’s meaning flips. This volume brands the tears inside the suit and the first real defense of Earth onto the same pages.
