Synopsis

After barely dodging his colleagues' relentless prying, Takagi finally lands an amusement-park date with Sato. But at the venue, Tropical Marine Land, a drug-dealer case is already in motion, and the sweet outing turns into a dangerous investigation. The volume's other highlight is "The Professor's First Love," a bittersweet tale of Dr. Agasa's youthful romance and a reunion and farewell across time. In the amusement-park case, a drug dealer hides among the guests, and Takagi and Sato set the date aside to make the arrest. With Conan's help it's resolved safely, and the two grow closer once again. In "The Professor's First Love," Dr. Agasa reconnects with Fusae, the woman he loved in his youth, after decades apart, but she is already ill, and a quiet farewell comes. This first love is revealed to be the origin of the "Fusae Brand" name in a genuinely moving chapter. Conan's mystery-solving and adult romance intertwine.
