Synopsis

One day a real god appears in Penguin Village, and it turns out the Gatchans are actually angels sent down from the heavens. But the two free-spirited Gatchans, being their usual selves, keep pulling pranks—on a god, no less. His patience finally snapped, the god launches an all-out counterattack on the village. How will Arale, Senbei, and the rest stand up to divine wrath? The god tries to take the Gatchans back to the heavens, but the two carry on at their own pace and even gobble up his divine power. Furious, he unleashes miracle after miracle to throw the village into chaos—yet this is Penguin Village, so no one is truly scared. In the end, Arale's oblivious blow and the Gatchans' bottomless appetite leave the god utterly stumped. The Gatchans get to stay in the village as angels after all, and the solemn myth comes crashing down in a spectacular pratfall.
