Synopsis

With Ultra Instinct now perfected, Goku corners Moro. Just as victory seems certain, Moro unleashes the Merus ability stashed in his severed left hand and takes Ultra Instinct itself for his own. Wielding godlike power, Moro rampages, bent on devouring Earth and the universe whole. Goku is driven to the brink, but human potential and the hopes of his allies converge into a final move no one saw coming. This volume brings the Moro arc to its climax.

Having gained Ultra Instinct, Moro loses control and rampages, nearly crushing Earth in his grip. Just as he moves to finish the battered Goku, Merus arrives, the former Galactic Patrolman who broke the angels' law to become human. Trading his own life for a single strike, Merus entrusts the last hope to Goku and fades away. Carrying that will, Goku reignites Ultra Instinct and, adding energy borrowed even from Frieza, destroys Moro with an all-out blow. Earth and the universe are saved, and Goku sets off toward his next training, a fresh challenge in his heart.
