Synopsis

Learning that the Red Ribbon Army once again schemes for world conquest, Piccolo begins investigating alone. The army has smooth-talked the brilliant Dr. Hedo into building two androids, the Gammas, to advance its plans. With Goku and Vegeta off-world, Magenta identifies Gohan as the greatest threat and plots to strike Goku's son first. Hedo, a pure-hearted young genius obsessed with heroes, has no idea of the true purpose behind his creations. As the line between good and evil blurs, the stage for a decisive battle is set.

When Hedo learns he has actually created the uncontrollable monster Cell Max, his conscience awakens and he turns against the army alongside the Gammas. Magenta and Carmine's ambitions spiral out of control, driving events straight toward the activation of the sealed ultimate weapon, Cell Max.
