Synopsis

One year after the deadly battle on Namek, peace has finally returned to Earth, when a mysterious young man suddenly appears. Frieza, resurrected as a cybernetic monster, arrives with his father King Cold, only for the newcomer to cut them both down in a single strike. His name is Trunks. He waits only for Goku's return from space to deliver a chilling warning: a future of despair is coming, heralded by the arrival of the Androids. A mechanized Frieza and his father King Cold come to conquer Earth, but a mysterious youth named Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan and annihilates them both in an instant. He reveals to Goku alone that he is the son of Vegeta and Bulma from the future, and warns that in three years unbeatable Androids will appear and wipe out the Z Warriors. He even predicts that Goku will collapse from a heart virus, handing over the cure. Hope and despair arrive together, and the Z Warriors begin three new years of intense training.
