Synopsis

Triggered by Android 16's death, Gohan ascends to Super Saiyan 2, wipes out the Cell Juniors, and overpowers Perfect Cell. Cornered, Cell chooses to self-destruct, so Goku sacrifices himself, using Instant Transmission to teleport Cell to King Kai's planet, saving Earth at the cost of his own life. But Cell regenerates completely from a single cell and kills Trunks with one blow. Grief-stricken, guided by Goku's voice from the afterlife, Gohan fires an all-out one-armed Kamehameha and erases Cell for good.
