Synopsis

The heart of the volume is Lucy officially joining Fairy Tail. A fake Natsu running a human-trafficking ring gets torched by the real Natsu's Dragon Slayer flames. Lucy proves herself as a celestial mage with her gate keys and is welcomed in. We learn Happy is Natsu's family and that Natsu was raised by the fire dragon Igneel, marking him as a dragon's child. Guild master Makarov's larger-than-life presence sets the tone for the grand adventure ahead.
