Synopsis

The decisive battle with the Alvarez Empire escalates in Volume 47. With Magnolia as the stage, the wizards of Fairy Tail collide head-on with the strongest of the Spriggan 12. In Volume 47 Wendy and Chelia unleash a desperate combination against Dimaria and Brandish, and the girls' growth swings the tide. Laxus turns back Wahl, and Fairy Tail's lightning roars against the Empire. The story charges toward the truth that Natsu is E.N.D., Zeref's dead brother revived through a book of curses. Zeref's true aim — seizing Fairy Heart and bringing about the end of everything — is laid bare, along with the cruel bind that killing Natsu would erase Zeref too. The fated confrontation draws unavoidably near.
