Synopsis

The rampage of the giant aliens across Tokyo shows no sign of stopping, and the city fills with rubble and corpses. Tokyo's devastation spreads further, and no matter how hard Kurono tries to save those trapped, there simply aren't enough hands, and people keep dying before his eyes. Just as he pushes past his limit and nearly collapses, the astonishingly strong Osaka team storms onto the battlefield, crushing the giant aliens with overwhelming firepower. The monstrous strength of players like Jouichirou Nishi stuns the reader. For the first time, Kurono glimpses allies he can rely on, and the tide turns toward a counterattack. Yet the enemy's true numbers remain unseen, and the volume closes on the ominous question of whose life the victory will cost.
