Synopsis

The long-awaited sequel Zatch Bell!! 2 opens here. Years after the battle of 100 mamodo children to decide the king ended and Zatch took the throne, the demon world was supposed to be at peace. But a quiet unease has crept in, and a shocking truth about the current state of the demon world comes to light. Cornered by despair, three mamodo children make a desperate gamble. The opening pages run in full color, with a bonus short at the back, and Kiyomaro and Zatch's new story finally begins.

The demon world Zatch now rules is being invaded by a mysterious force that strips mamodo of their spells and leaves them falling one by one. To carry word of the crisis to the human world, three mamodo children spend the last of their strength to leap to Kiyomaro. Reunited after years apart, Zatch still looks childlike, yet beneath it lies the heavy resolve of a king. Old allies are hinted to return as enemies, and the countdown to ruin hidden behind the peace begins in earnest.
