Synopsis

Volume 26 of Makoto Raiku's landmark Mamodo battle saga. Kiyomaro and Zatch are dragged into a desperate clash over a friend's spellbook, trading devastating incantations with everything on the line. Zilnoze corners the group with overwhelming power, but Kiyomaro's tactical mind and Zatch's unbreakable spirit spark the turnaround. A falling friend's bookkeeper entrusts a final wish to Zatch, awakening a new spell at exactly the right moment. Kiyomaro reads the enemy's attack rhythm cold and rewrites the battle with a full-force Baou-class blast. In the aftermath, Zatch feels the weight of a life he barely saved and rededicates himself to what the fight for king truly means. The looming threat of Faudo begins to darken the horizon, pushing the story firmly toward its final showdown.
