Synopsis

Through a strange turn of events, the Yorozuya crew heads off on a space trip, only for a cascade of trouble to leave their ship stranded. Can they even make it back to Earth? Along the way we meet a cute princess with a secret, a perverted underwear thief, a self-proclaimed genius inventor, and the fan-favorite "Hamuko." As always, the odd jobs around the Yorozuya are packed with bizarre incidents that earn them next to nothing. Volume 4 goes full throttle on sci-fi and gags.

Stranded aboard the crippled spaceship, the Yorozuya keeps clowning around even at their limit and eventually claws their way back to Earth through brains and brute force. In the inventor arc, a machine built to do all the housework goes haywire, turning the danger of over-reliance on convenience into comedy. In the princess job, Gintoki quietly lends a hand out of pure human decency across class lines. There are no flashy showdowns, but each episode stacks up the charm of "this is just who the Yorozuya are."
