Synopsis

Just as Otae sets out to rebuild the Yagyu dojo her late father left behind, a long-missing figure from the school's past resurfaces. He returns wielding a bizarre, almost science-fiction style of swordsmanship, and with it comes a secret grave enough to threaten the very survival of Earth. Gin and the Yorozuya are dragged into the mess, alongside a side story about Sadaharu running away from home.

The new style turns out to be tangled up with dangerous Amanto technology capable of triggering a planet-scale disaster. As the Yagyu clan reels, Gin plants himself squarely in the way to protect Otae's dojo and her father's legacy. Behind all the slapstick, the swordsmen's real resolve gets dragged into the light, and even Sadaharu's disappearance resolves in an unexpectedly touching way. It looks like pure comedy, but it quietly pushes the Yagyu bloodline arc forward a solid step.
