Their first-round opponent is Johzenji, a free-spirited festival team that lives by the motto of "having fun." Ignoring textbook plays and shifting their attacks on a whim, Johzenji throws Karasuno off balance from the start. The more Karasuno tries to counter with reads and structure, the less it clicks, so Hinata and company push back with their own volleyball. A volume about Karasuno slowly reclaiming its footing on a court where the opponent sets the pace.
