Synopsis

Hideo wanders the shattered city with no destination as the ZQN multiply at a terrifying rate, moving and striking with inhuman force. Hideo throws in his lot with a taxi driver and other survivors, but the ZQN horde hunts them down without mercy. As the bitten transform one after another and his allies dwindle, Hideo is finally cornered into a decision about pulling Sadao's trigger. His terror of shooting wars with his raw instinct to live. Watching people cease to be people, something inside him definitively breaks, and then hardens. This volume etches the painful transformation of a man who is anything but a hero.
