Synopsis

High schooler Yuji Itadori swallows a cursed finger of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, to protect his friends, taking the worst curse in existence into his own body. Rather than being executed, he is taken in by Jujutsu High as Sukuna's vessel and enrolls at the Tokyo campus. Alongside classmates Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, Yuji steps into a hidden world where sorcerers battle the curses born of human negativity, learning what it means to give people a proper death.

Yuji devours Sukuna's finger to save his friends and, uniquely, keeps his consciousness even while the King of Curses stirs within him. Officially declared dead by Satoru Gojo, he is instead granted a stay of execution on the condition that he consume every finger before he dies. On his first mission with Megumi and Nobara, he faces a special-grade curse, exposing both Sukuna's overwhelming power and how dangerously little control Yuji has over it. His path as a sorcerer begins wrapped in the resolve to die well.
