The being controlling Geto's body is revealed as Kenjaku, an ancient sorcerer who has jumped bodies for a thousand years. He activates the Culling Game, scattering curses across Japan. Yuji settles his bitter fight with Mahito, who is ultimately devoured by Sukuna and erased. The Shibuya Incident ends in defeat for the sorcerers, leaving countless dead and shattered. Yuta is ordered to execute Yuji, propelling the story toward the Culling Game arc.
