Volume 5 turns the Storehouse into the war itself. Chihiro Rokuhira grips the enchanted blade Enten while still carrying Kuroami’s sacrifice, weathering Kyora’s free-form space attacks. Hakuri walks beside him with a body still scored by the past, pulling the locked-up from “merchandise” back into people. Blow by blow the Storehouse’s logic frays; the more Kyora is cornered, the deeper he sinks into custom. In the end his outstretched hand is neither simple flight nor a clean win—it is a choice that rattles Rakuzaichi’s two-hundred-year machine. Chihiro’s revenge overlaps protecting his father’s steel; Hakuri’s fight overlaps climbing out of self-erasure. Rescue and seizure, contract and betrayal run together—the field refuses a single blade of “whose justice.” The moment custom is cut short, the next enemy is already whetting steel beyond the night. The blood market ends; Kagurabachi’s blades do not.
