Synopsis

The battle for Black Sheep Hill erupts at last across a vast field. Qin's commander Kanki and Zhao's commander Keisha, one steeped in infamy and the other in genius, weave layer upon layer of schemes as a deadly game of foresight begins. Moments after the fighting starts, the Hi Shin Unit, unable to read Kanki's true aim, is struck by an enemy ambush and thrown into chaos. Shin searches for a way through while shielding his comrades, but Keisha's battlefield runs endlessly deep, and the next mighty trial bares its fangs.

Kanki deliberately leaves the center of the hill thin to lure Keisha out, but the Zhao general sees through it and strikes the right flank where the Hi Shin Unit stands. Ambushed, Shin is nearly cut off, yet Kyokai, Naki and the others hold the line. Meanwhile the eccentrics of Kanki's army, like Ogiko and Maron, throw the board into disorder until no one can read the flow. Keisha waits coldly, certain Qin will move, while Kanki's real intent stays hidden. With neither side's depth revealed, Black Sheep plunges toward even fiercer combat.
