Synopsis

The search for allies leads Meliodas, Elizabeth, and Diane straight into the Holy Knight stronghold of Baste Dungeon. To free an imprisoned old comrade, they march into enemy territory, where the ruthless Holy Knight Friesia and the lightning-wielding Gilthunder await. A reunion with the captured Fox's Sin of Greed, Ban, is also in store. At Baste Dungeon, Ban, the Fox's Sin of Greed, rejoins the group, his reunion with Meliodas kicking off with a brutal, affectionate brawl between old friends. It becomes clear that Gilthunder once knew Meliodas and that the Holy Knights may be controlled by someone. Diane's giant heritage is explored, and her feelings for Meliodas turn bittersweet. The existence of a mastermind poisoning the kingdom is strongly hinted.
