Synopsis

The battle at Baste Dungeon reaches its climax. With the buried memory of the sin between King and Ban finally undone, their long feud nears a resolution. King learns the truth that Ban could not save Elaine from death, and instead of hatred he arrives at forgiveness. Their rift is settled for now, and Ban returns as a comrade. When the Holy Knight Guila appears with her Explosion magic, Meliodas struggles at first but drives her off with an overwhelming counterattack, strongly hinting that his power is far from human. It also surfaces that the Holy Knights are being enhanced by experimental drugs, underscoring how monstrous the enemy has become. Battle over, the group departs with Elizabeth for Vaizel, the town where a fighting festival is about to begin.
