With the intervention of Madara, Natsume manages to pacify the spirit, but not before Taki confronts the bittersweet legacy her grandfather left behind. The experience forces Taki to reconcile with the ghost of her family's past, realizing that the 'sight' her grandfather possessed was a curse born of love.
