Synopsis

Ogasawara Sadamune, the shugo of Shinano hunting for Hojo survivors, brazenly crashes the Suwa shrine's ceremonial "dog-chasing" event. Sadamune suspects Tokiyuki is a surviving Hojo and tests him through the duel. Rather than win by force, Tokiyuki dodges every one of the master's killing arrows with movement honed to the extreme through flight and evasion. Awed by this overwhelming skill at escape, Sadamune begins to acknowledge the boy's worth behind his hostility. Yorishige's faith in Tokiyuki's talent is renewed, the Suwa allies grow tighter, and fleeing takes shape as the boy's greatest form of attack.
