Synopsis

Yoritsugu, grandson of the late Yorishige and heir to the divine seat, challenges Tokiyuki to a game of tag with his standing inside Suwa Grand Shrine on the line. Slipping past squads sent to stop him, Tokiyuki humbles the arrogant boy-god and sharpens his gift for escape even further. Afterward, guided by Hojo Yasuie, the group slips into Kyoto in disguise, drinking in the dazzling culture of the great capital. But a game of sugoroku against Mima, a girl blessed with divine power, drags Tokiyuki into trouble almost at once.
