Synopsis

Before the god Enel's overwhelming terror, Shandia warriors and Straw Hats alike keep falling. Is there truly no way left to stop this thunder god? Against Enel, who has become the giant thunder avatar "Raigo," Luffy strikes head-on with a fist wrapped around a golden orb — the Gum-Gum Gold Rifle. Rubber conducts no electricity, and gold absorbs the lightning: with the laws of nature on his side, Luffy's blow shatters the self-styled god. Enel's dream of fleeing to the "Fairy Vearth" (the moon) collapses, and he is blasted far beyond the sky. Then the great golden bell, silent for four centuries, finally rings out across the whole of Skypiea. Noland and Calgara's promise is fulfilled across time, and the old grudge between the Shandia and the sky people dissolves. A moving grand finale to the Skypiea arc.
