Synopsis

Kenshin's dark past catches up when the killer Jin-e Udo storms the Kamiya dojo and takes Kaoru hostage. Cornered and enraged, Kenshin nearly slips back into the murderous Battosai, his killing intent surging beyond control. Only Kaoru's desperate cry breaks the spell and returns him to himself. Refusing to kill, he defeats Jin-e while honoring his vow. This is the moment the assassin truly becomes a protector, choosing a life beside Kaoru over the shadow of his old self.
