Synopsis

Himura Kenshin once killed as the shadow assassin Hitokiri Battousai during the fall of the shogunate. Now, in Meiji year 11, he wanders with a reversed-edge sword and a vow never to kill again, having found a home at the Kamiya dojo in Tokyo. Enishi's identity lands like a blade: he is the younger brother of Yukishiro Tomoe, the wife Kenshin killed with his own hands years ago. As a boy, Enishi froze his heart around that loss and made "Jinchu" — man's justice — his only reason to live. His six chosen comrades begin quietly investigating everyone close to Kenshin. Kenshin realizes his past has finally caught up, and Tomoe's name cuts him open all over again.
