Synopsis

A bizarre new assassin comes after Sakamoto — one whose thoughts can't be read at all, leaving even the telepathic Shin stumped. The unreadable enemy turns out to be a killer who constantly hums in his head, jamming Shin's mind-reading. Shin spots the weakness and finds his opening in the split second the rhythm breaks. In the amusement park arc, Sakamoto protects his daughter Hana while neutralizing his foes without ever tipping off his true self. It's revealed that other espers exist beyond Sakamoto, deepening Shin's past and the shadow of the underground organization. The bounty hunters never stop coming, and the volume cements the shop as less a store than an unbeatable fortress.
