Synopsis

At last Sakamoto and "X" (Slur) face each other head-on. Against Sakamoto — once the peak of all assassins yet sworn never to kill — Slur strikes at his weakest point, taking his family hostage to rattle him. With the very people he must protect held as leverage, the killing intent Sakamoto has kept buried swells to the brink of bursting, and he is forced to confront his own creed. Layers of past grudges tangle together, and the raid on the Assassins Association headquarters tumbles into a situation no one saw coming. With Shin, Nagumo and the others fighting alongside him, this volume delivers one of the series' biggest clashes yet.
