Synopsis

After uncovering information in the present about the massive Yokohama crew Tenjiku and its leader, Izana Kurokawa, Takemichi steadies his resolve and leaps into the past once more. But this time there is no turning back to the future. With his retreat cut off, this becomes Takemichi's truly final battle. Volume 16 gradually reveals the identity of this new enemy, Izana, and the threads of fate that bind him to the Tokyo Manji Gang. Steeling himself alongside his friends to face the "Kanto Incident," Takemichi pushes the hopes he has staked on rewriting the past toward their decisive stage.

⚠ Spoiler warning — tap to reveal
This volume hints at Izana Kurokawa's past and his unexpected ties to Mikey and Emma, revealing a deep bond that makes him far more than a simple villain. Takemichi throws himself into the fight knowing he can no longer return to the future, and that inescapable tension runs through every page. Alongside episodes celebrating the bonds between friends, a shadow that resembles Tetta Kisaki stirs once again, planting unease about the schemes lurking behind the conflict. Threads for the coming showdown are laid out all at once, making this a crucial run-up to the full clash of the next volume.
