Synopsis

Toriko and his companions climb the Regal Plateau in search of the Regal Mammoth, hunting for the ultimate delicacy hidden inside it in tiny quantities, the fabled Jewel Meat. Beating back the savage beasts that attack along the way, the group presses on, only to find the shadow of the Gourmet Corp.'s GT Robo creeping toward them once more. The obsession of Gourmet Hunters chasing extraordinary ingredients clashes with the dark organization out to stop them, in one of the series' standout adventure volumes.

Toriko corners the Regal Mammoth and fights for the legendary Jewel Meat, of which only a few kilograms exist inside the beast. But the GT Robo appears to steal the prize, and Toriko unleashes his full arsenal in a ferocious clash. After a brutal life-or-death battle, he drives off both the mammoth and the enemy Robo and claims the glittering Jewel Meat. Komatsu's transformation of it into a supreme dish is a highlight, while the Gourmet Corp.'s threat finally pushes into the open, ratcheting up the tension for the next battle.
