Synopsis

Carlo returns to the team, and at last Mutta and the "Jokers" reach the moment of departure for the Moon. As family and friends look on, the countdown rings out loud across Kennedy Space Center. The dream he has held since childhood and the reality he has earnestly chased as an adult, that distance shrinks to zero in this very instant. Carrying countless accumulated efforts and the hopes of everyone who supported him, Mutta sinks into the rocket's seat. "I'm off to space!!" A deeply moving volume where the culmination of a long journey finally erupts.

Carlo, who had left, answers his comrades' call and returns, and the Jokers stand together on the launch pad in full. Mutta savors the long road to the start button, his heart full of the ingenuity honed in the Namba Workshop and the bonds with his crew. On the ground, scenes of his brother Hibito, his family, and everyone he has ever met cross like flashing memories. Then comes count zero. With a thunderous roar the rocket spews flame and rises into the sky carrying Mutta. The promise the brothers swore as children, "we'll go to space," finally becomes real fire soaring to the heavens. A volume holding one of the series' greatest scenes.
