Synopsis

Ataru keeps drooling over every new beauty and female monster he meets, and each time he's charred by Lum's lightning in the tried-and-true punchline. The bizarre guest characters run riot before drifting back to space or their otherworlds, leaving Tomobiki to greet the next morning as if nothing happened. Lum rages sincerely at Ataru's philandering yet never gives up on him, while Ataru talks tough but can't bring himself to abandon her when it matters. Rather than a grand resolution, each chapter closes on the loose, warm note that their tangled bond has simply survived another day.
