Synopsis

The final volume charges toward one of the series' biggest uproars. Amid a crisis that engulfs all of Tomobiki, the perpetually flippant Ataru is pushed to a moment where he at last speaks his true feelings for Lum. Mendou, Shinobu and Lum's alien friends all rush in, gathering every character for a festive climax. The long-teased love for her "Darling" is finally rewarded, and Ataru and Lum close out the long story amid laughter and tears. It's a joyous, fan-serving finale packed with warmth.
