Synopsis

The third round of Air Poker, the final showdown staked on Yakata-goe, comes to an end, and what descends upon Baku is a nightmare that can only be called a natural disaster. At last the identity of the "hand makers," shrouded in mystery from the very start, is revealed. Up on the surface, an ultimate torture device called the Whore's Pain is suddenly brought in, savaging not the players below but their collaborators. Team Baku and Haru against Team Laro and Fukurou — who will master this doubly layered, extreme game of death?

It is exposed that the cards are not built by the two below water but by collaborators up on the surface, transforming the match into a simultaneous game across two layers. Laro's side uses the torture device, the Whore's Pain, to corner its collaborator into producing exact cards. Enduring agonizing pain, Haru keeps forming hands for Baku, and her devotion holds the board together. Staying conscious underwater, Baku prepares a move that turns even the gap between the information above and below to his advantage, cracking Laro's flawless math. The end is near.
