Synopsis

Hoping to patch things up with Mahiru, Kou keeps digging into the boy's ties to Kiku. A detective finally uncovers the twisted strangeness hidden inside Mahiru's household. Just as Kou is determined to win Mahiru back by any means, a mysterious man suddenly appears before them. This vampire attacks Nazuna and Kou without mercy, and his identity is a total unknown. The investigation reveals that the strain within Mahiru's family is what pushed him toward Kiku, and Mahiru is now too ensnared by her to turn back. The mysterious male vampire who appears is connected to both Nazuna and Kiku, and he assaults Nazuna and Kou in earnest. In the fight Kou is reminded how dangerous the vampire world is and hardens his resolve to protect Nazuna. Kiku's goals slowly begin to take shape, and the story accelerates toward the clash in the next volume.
