Synopsis

Hachiro is ready to sink into an eternal sleep at the bottom of the lake, dragging Shura down with him. Using the technique Shura taught him, Rin severs the demon's seal and pulls both Hachiro and Shura back from the sleep beneath the lake. Hachiro's role as a vessel ends, and Shura faces her past and moves forward. As the Aomori arc closes, Lightning's investigation reveals that the Illuminati have burrowed deep inside the Knights of the True Cross. Yukio, too, begins acting on his own regarding Shiro's death and the Illuminati, making it clear that the enemy hides not outside the academy but within it. The story drives toward a core crisis that shakes trust in the Order itself.
