Synopsis

Guided by Mephisto through scenes of the past, Rin witnesses truths no one ever dared to tell him. He sees what kind of girl his young mother, Yuri Egin, once was, and what Satan truly is beneath the legend. The story closes in on the decisive moment of Satan's incarnation. The small blue flame that only Yuri could befriend turns out to be Satan's primal form. The image of the demon god he was raised to hate begins to crack, and Rin's entire understanding of the world is rewritten from the ground up.

Only the young Yuri could speak with Satan, the blue-flame demon no one else could approach. The lonely god opened his heart to her alone and began to wish he could understand humans. In this volume Satan is reframed not as absolute evil but as a sorrowful being born without ever knowing love. Yuri's kindness becomes the trigger for the incarnation, and the chain of tragedy starts to move. The very reason Rin and Yukio were born is rooted in this bond between mother and Satan. Readers can no longer simply hate the father, making the coming birth and exorcism ring all the more cruel.
