On a shore within sight of the port city of Vritannis, Guts and his companions win a brief rest and share a strange encounter with a mysterious someone. Yet the sorcery corps of the Kushan Empire, sweeping across the continent, is already advancing on that very ground. Wounds still unhealed, Guts takes up his sword once more to protect his friends. A new trial begins on the journey across the sea to save Casca.
