Synopsis
Danan’s flower storm finally wakes Casca from her long nightmare. Reunited with Guts, she recalls the Eclipse and cries out in rejection. Meanwhile Griffith’s Neo Band of the Hawk drives back foreign foes and returns to the capital. Brief calm ends as light and darkness cross again at the island’s edge.

Volume 41 faces Casca’s awakening and its cost. Danan’s flower magic cracks the nightmare shell; the world returns to her eyes—and so does every horror of the Eclipse. When Guts rushes in, she screams and recoils. The man who fought to protect her becomes the shape of her terror. Island days look calm, yet her gaze flees him; Schierke and Farnese cannot bridge the gap. In Falconia, Griffith’s Neo Band of the Hawk returns in triumph, and the people’s fervor crowns the Falcon myth. Order in the city of light is set against the wound on the spirit-tree isle. At the edge of the island, light cuts and shadow lengthens. Guts’s sword stays unsheathed; Casca still cannot speak his name. Reunion is not completion—it is the bell that starts the real war.
