Synopsis

Volume 43 opens in the aftershock of the Elfhelm confrontation. Facing Griffith wearing the Moonlight Boy’s form, Guts’ swing cuts only air—the gulf of causality made physical. Casca is stolen once more as the island itself warps and falls. Without Danan’s protection fully holding, the company flees by ship, only to meet the Kushan fleet. Bound and watched, Guts is forced into a nation’s logic instead of a battlefield’s. Schierke, Isidro, and the others scatter under imperial pressure while the map of vengeance widens toward a new continent. The fire of revenge does not go out; only the theater of war expands.
