Synopsis

As Ichigo keeps hunting Hollows, Shinji relentlessly presses him to join the Visored. Ichigo refuses, yet the Hollow lurking inside him grows harder to ignore with each passing day. The Arrancar who appear are Yylfordt and his brother Di Roy. Their monstrous reiatsu overwhelms Ichigo's group, and Chad and Ishida rush in only to fall into danger too. Then Isshin, who has secretly regained his powers, arrives and drives off the Arrancar with a single crushing blow, revealing his strength to his stunned son. This volume unveils part of the truth: Ichigo's father was once a Soul Reaper. Aizen pushes his full Arrancar army forward, and the Arrancar arc truly begins, forcing Ichigo to confront his own Hollowfication.
